UH OH.. HE SAW ME... I HAVE TO BE FAITHFUL

HI SHE CAN SISTER! Hi Fam! Heyyy gurllllfrienddd!!

How have you been? What has been going on in your world sis? Have you been surviving?  I miss you! I can’t believe that we haven’t spoken since I was headed to the SHE CAN WOMEN’S CONFERENCE IN TAPPAHANNOCK VIRGINIA!

I can’t wait to give you all the details about the conference! If you were there then you know where I am headed, but sis if you weren’t there then mannnnn you missed it. It’s okay though that was not the last SHE CAN WOMEN’S CONFERENCE there are more to come!  I am going to write a special blog post specifically about the conference stayed tuned! 

Sis, I miss you. I am sending you a big hug today! 

Can I just be honest sis- I always feel so comfortable coming on the blog talking to you because I feel like it’s our space to be open and transparent. 

I am ready to have another transparent moment with you… First, let me ask you this… Have you ever prayed for something so long and you just wondered when and if God is going to answer that prayer?

Well, last week I was literally in my car praying with a few tears rolling down my eyes begging God to answer this specific prayer I had been praying about for months. I felt God saying “Najma you aren’t even being faithful with what is on your plate now- how can I trust you with more”? “You rather make excuses for your behavior instead of finding ways to change your behavior” “Najma you aren’t even organized with the little things- how can you be organized with something big like this”? 

The tears started flowing even more because God was right… 

& this is why I love God because HE LOVES ME SO MUCH AS HIS DAUGHTER THAT SOMETIMES HE HAS TO GET ME ALL THE WAY TOGETHER! God was so right… I am nowhere near operating in excellence with the things that are on my plate now. Why would He add more? The thing that I am praying for requires so much work, but I know that I am not ready to put in the hard work. 

The rest of my car ride was very silent... It was like my mind became still. The two words that couldn't leave my mind were “BE FAITHFUL”. 

Yes, that’s right! God wants us to “BE FAITHFUL” in the small things so He can bless us with the big things. Maybe God hasn’t given us the new job because we “AREN’T FAITHFUL” at the job we are currently employed at. I wonder if God hasn’t blessed us with new friends because we “AREN’T FAITHFUL” with the friends we have now. Hmmm.. I wonder if God hasn’t increased our finances because we “AREN’T FAITHFUL” with the finances we have now. 

My sister I truly think God just wants us to “BE FAITHFUL” with the small. He wants us to be faithful with the things that are currently on our plate. God wants us to be faithful when no one is looking. I am so glad that God doesn’t want us to be perfect, but He does want us to “BE FAITHFUL”. 

Cause sis…. What God is not going to do is put more on our plates than we can bear… 

So let’s be faithful with the small so God can trust us with the BIG!

Be Faithful Exercise: Sister, I want you to take an honest look at your life. I want you to write down all of the things that you aren’t currently being faithful with. It could be your job. It could be your relationship. It could be your walk with God. It could be anything. Just write it down. Then I want you to write down 4 ways you are going to work on being more faithful so God can look at you as a women He can rely on! After you write down your 4 steps- pray over those steps and give them to God!

My sis, please meditate on this verse!

“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities”. 

Be Faithful Prayer for My Sisters: 

God, I am sending up a prayer to the HILLS where my help comes from. God my sisters and I want to be women that you can rely on. God when you have an assignment that needs to be completed in this WORLD WE WANT YOU TO CALL ON ONE OF US. We want you to trust us with the assignments you need completed. I pray that you please allow us to be faithful in the small so you can open our eyes to MUCH MORE. God, please allow us to become organized. God, please be with our daily schedules. Please help us submit everything to you. WE LOVE YOU JESUS! We are ready to be faithful. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN!
