4 Mindset Tips For A Healthy Lifestyle

Hey Fammmm! What’s up! How are you? Sis, are you still in with me? What has been going on in your world? I have missed you! I am sending you air hugs today!
Fammmm, I am not going to lie, these past few weeks have been rough for your girl... Trying to process all of the killings. Trying to process the Coronavirus. Its just been a lot. Do you ever feel like you are taking steps backwards when you are trying to take steps forward? That has been me and I am not going to lie, I feel like I lost myself in the midst of all of this.
I felt myself going back to old habits. I felt my body not at ease because I had not been resting. Not to mention I have not been eating right so that took another toll on my body. I have been worrying about things that I have no control of. I WILL JUST SAY MY HEART HAS BEEN HEAVY. Can anyone relate? Do you ever feel like you just want to sleep the days away because you don’t want to face the reality of life? I just raised both hands!
Not to mention today is Monday? Does anyone else ever dread Mondays? Loooookkkkkkk!! As I was reflecting on starting a new week God has reminded me that my mindset has to shift if I want other things in my life to shift. HOLD UP GOD. So instead of always thinking that an outcome will be negative I have to shift my mind that things will work out for the good! Basically instead of worrying about my future, I have to put everything in the future makers hands! Something has to shift! Does anyone else need a shift right now? Are things starting to fall off in your life? Are you feeling like you are losing pieces of yourself?
It’s a new week fammm! It's Monday Sis! In order for this week to be different from the past couple of weeks it’s time for a shift in thinking. I don’t want us to keep being upset when Monday rolls around. I want us to start rejoicing when Mondays approach! I have created 4 Mindset Shifts that we must take to have a joyful week! What I love about a change in thoughts is that it prepares us for things that are unexpected. It prepares us for things that may go wrong during our week. Having a mindset shift doesn’t eliminate things from happening in our life; we just view the things that happen in our life differently!
3 MINDSET SHIFTS FOR A SUCCESSFUL WEEK:
Mindset Shift 1: PRAYER
The first mindset shift that we must take to have a successful week is actually praying for that change in thought! We can only do things with God. We can only operate in God’s strength. God is the only one who can renew our mind. We can’t do it by ourselves. Have your thoughts been somewhat negative lately? What have you been worrying about? I want you to give everything that has been on your mind to God! This isn’t the time for us to run from God. This is the time for us to get closer to God. Commit to starting your day with prayer each day. Not starting your day with checking your email, or your social media, or your text messages. Open your day with prayer! Ready...Set...Pray!
Mindset Shift 2: PLANNING
Do you feel like your weeks are just passing you by? Am I the only one that has a running to do list in my head? I will have all of these things in my head that I need to do but somehow I always forget to do them! Family, it’s time for us to start writing things down on paper! No, it doesn’t need to be fancy paper but there is confidence in writing things down! Our mind shifts to start believing in ourselves. We start to believe that we can do the things that we have written down! This week I want you to categorize your goals in 3 sections. 1. Spiritual Goals 2. Health Goals 3. Personal Goals. Let’s shift our minds to focus on things that matter the most to us in life!
Mindset Shift 3: BELIEVING
This last mindset shift is so important because if we don’t believe in ourselves then how can we really have a shift in thinking? I want you to start speaking life and love into yourself! Start loving yourself! Stop telling yourself you can’t and start telling yourself you can! Start actually believing you can change! Change your mindset on the type of person you are! Start viewing yourself as a successful person! Start noticing the beautiful things about yourself! Start giving yourself two compliments a day!
Mindset Shift 4: EASING
Easing your mind is one of my favorites because this is the time to let go, ease into a peaceful state and rest from all distractions, worries, fears, and stresses that may come throughout your day. At the end of each day I want you to sit for 15 minutes. Just 15 minutes and process how your day went. You can play soft music. I have a little tub of Kinetic Sand for my hands to play in, that I use to ease myself down. I purchased the Kinetic Sand from Walmart and it was not expensive at all.
