#DEVIL YOU TRIED ME, GOD LOVES ME LIKE CRAZY!

Sisterssssssssss What’s Up?!?! Hi Family! Hello Friends!!

We haven’t connected since February…. We have to change that, I am going to do better! But what’s been going on in your world? Have you been getting enough rest? Sis, have you caught up on your favorite TV shows? How has the healing journey been going for you? Wow the month of February we focused on the importance of healing! I recommended some tools and a book for your healing journey. Check that blog post out when you get a chance! We also had our first WOW WOMAN on the BLOG Felicia Hefney! She is such a power house! If you haven’t read her story about healing make sure you go and check that blog post out!

Well sis let me update you… First, Can I just take a moment to be completely honest? I just feel like I can be honest and transparent when I am talking with my sisters! Sooo, the month of March was somewhat stressful for me. I felt lost most days. I wasn’t getting enough rest. My body was on E. I was literally empty. I was allowing things that I couldn’t control stress me out. Some of you may not know but I am graduating in May with a Master’s in Clinical Social Work. So, the pressure was really on me because I didn’t know what I was going to do next in life. Let’s just say self-care was not my best friend the month of March. So when you are praying, lift your sister up in your prayers! I need all the prayers I can get!

But on another note Heeyyy Spring! Hello to the beautiful month of April! Am I the only one that gets excited when the seasons change? Like sissss in the winter time I love wearing my cozy UGG boots, in the fall I love wearing my light weight scarves, in the summer time I love wearing my fun sundresses, and in the spring I get so excited because I get to choose if I want to wear a sweater or a short sleeve shirt!

It’s funny how I love when the different seasons change in the world. But I don’t usually like when God changes different seasons in my daily life. Usually when God changes a season in my life it becomes uncomfortable. Like, can you explain to me why I always feel like my purpose no longer exists when my seasons shift? I usually take a pause from everything when I am going through a difficult time. Example- last month I didn’t write the blog post that was scheduled, because I was going through a difficult time.

Right now I know it is hard for some of us to except that we are in a difficult season. You might be wondering Lord when are things going to change? Why did I lose my job? Why was I cheated on in this relationship? Why do I keep having miscarriages? Why does it seem like I have no friends? God, I am tired of being lonely. I literally have no money to pay the bills- when am I going to have a season of financial blessings? God I feel like being a mother is stressful sometimes-I can never get a break. When is this season going to change? God I feel like everyone else is succeeding but me. When am I going to accomplish something great?

But sis, even when your seasons shift don’t allow the enemy, YOURSELF, or other people to stop you from fulfilling your purpose. Don’t put off another assignment just because things are going crazy in your world. Whatever direction God is moving in, move with Him. It’s okay to say God I don’t understand which direction you are taking me, but I’m going to trust the process and move with you! Don’t run away from a difficult season- because I believe that there is power in the seasons we go throw. Even though they are un-comfortable you learn so many things about yourself. God has to allow some things in our life to happen so we can learn some things. God has to remove some people from our lives so we can become our best selves. God has to allow us to get fired from our job so we can see that a better job is waiting for us! Always remember that God is never going to do anything that is going to harm you. HE is only going to allow things to happen that will better YOU!

RECOMMENDED SEASON SHIFT TOOLS

Season Shift Bible Verse: “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown”. Isaiah 43:2 New Living Translation

Season Shift Exercise: Sis, while we are going through different seasons. I want us to practice not running to people about our difficulties, but learning how to run to God with our concerns. This month I want you to practice running to God first, and not, other people. Remember God is the one who has ALL of the answers not, other people. *It is okay to receive wisdom and guidance from others, but get wisdom and guidance from God first!

Season Prayer Time: Plan a specific time each day that you want to pray and talk with God! Talk to him about the different seasons you are going through.

Season Shift Quote: Always remember that God is never going to do anything that is going to harm you. HE is only going to allow things to happen that will better YOU! –Najma Calhoun

Sis, I am excited that we are no longer going to run away from difficult seasons or put our purpose on pause when things get hard, but instead we are going to learn and grow no matter the season we are in.

I know things may not make sense right now, but remember GOD LOVES YOU LIKE CRAZY!

Love you bunches sister,

Hugs, Prayers, & Blessings (Pray BIG)
